The circus live at furtados

The Circus is playing a free show at Lajpat Nagar showroom of Furtados on the 22nd April 2010. Supporting the band there on an acoustic-ambient set will be Bipolar Bear and funk rockers Simple Harmonic Motion.

This will be in continuation of the series of gigs being organised by Furtados with two more coming up in may after this event. There will be lot of discounts and special stuff happening at the store during this event !! so be there to enjoy a free show and to buy some kickass music products from the store.

Questioning the sanctuary

They wish to eat us. Feed on us and take us with them in the basement. Feed upon our cavities, and slave unto us their expertise. Flogged and with burnt skin we become the machine. A part of the larger machine, like a cog which moves.

Suck at being the machine. The cog that chokes. Let the wheel fall apart and let there be anarchy, twisted pretzel like bodies in a fantabulous embrace, with no care. Just be the cog, the screw driver through the head. And boys and girls, let the party begin.

A century and ten years

quasimodo. The android picks up the last remnants of a flower gone wrong, there is no catch in this, there are no fish, there is no water, but that's cool. Cause it just is.

In the laboratory there are are no rules my young friends, here we cook meat for pleasure in a dry unearthly state, constantly contradicting, asphyxiating on a lack of oxygen. But still we remain with a sense of purpose and understanding, let us call this understanding Shyam Sunder. Pretty evening. A century and ten years later from the year 1900 I greet you, with an androidal sense of purpose and belonging in quasilogical world, I hope you're with me minions. And i hope the roses don't fall empty in this newest of years.

Ok. So there's a daily letter of madness. And tonight is the first night, the first night of our being here and making our presence felt in the world of lettered sadness, do we have something to say to you of any use, any insight which might change your worldly view, a statement to inspire, maybe acquire your senses, We think not. This is trash.

Anyways, let there be an introduction,

We're a Delhi based band called The Circus, we play music and we like playing music. We intend to continue playing music and infecting nubile minds with statements of no provocation or meaning for many years to come, we sing in english, we play guitars and drums and we have played many shows trying to transmit our frequencies into those of the listening, attempting to capture their imagination but mostly failing to do so, This is because we are wannabes with a fruit fetish. We like fruits mostly, especially oranges, though we think orange isn't a suitable colour for an orange.
